Indian bride will be made of silk, silk with threads of satin or pure chiffon
which will have delicate embroidery of either gold thread or beadwork of
semi precious stones. Some Indian wedding dress can also be made of pure
gold and silk thread which gives it a rich color and reflects an impressive
grandeur.

Jewellery
Indian wedding dress also comes
with heavy jewellery which could be either made in gold, diamonds, or a
combination of both. Indian wedding dresses invariably comes with attractive
bangles which could be again made of gold or gold embellished precious
stones like diamonds, emeralds, rubies, etc.

are available with Indian wedding dresses and they come in the form of
necklaces, costume jewelry, rings, earrings, or hair styles on an Indian

dresses come in white color where as Indian wedding dresses usually come

dresses are Lehenga cholis. This is the gift of Moguls to the rich Indian

a royal look.
The conventional lehengas were
embroidered with gota and motis (cultured pearls). Thread work done on
lehengas were usually designed with Zardosi and teamed with bangles for
this exceptional occasion. Modern lehengas are new versions which are a
right fit for the bride. The upper outfit the bodice (choli) is usually
short with bright and divergent colors. The colors previously used for

embroidery in satin, dabka, brocade or zardosi, hand woven bead work, attractive
crystals, gold thread work with colored threads nalki and sequins. Some
brides opt for a special kind of work done exclusively on fabrics called
kutki, tilla and meenakari. Fabrics preferred on this particular style
of Indian wedding dress will be satin, silk, or mix-and-match satin and
georgettes.
It has a traditional look -uniquely
